Remarks
The application form can be found on the college website. The applicants can fill in their preferences and their scores can also be added. Based on their eligibility the required course will be allotted to the students. There is both online and offline mode for applying and the application fee will be around 500 INR.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen Information Technology out of my own interest. The faculties here are very well qualified in their respective streams and are very well experienced. They are very friendly and easily approachable. The students are always welcome to clarify their doubts. A course named 'bridge course' will be provided for the students before the beginning of the first year where they will be taught practically about the basic technologies in their field and various valued programs for soft skills and technical skills will be conducted and certifications will also be provided for the same. Support from the faculties was also provided for the students to work on research projects. Academic coaching is also the best at KCG. Proper study materials for each course will be provided to the students.
Placement Experience
The college will also take the students for industrial visits so the students can learn many technologies practised in companies. Internships and industry projects were offered at the start of the third year of the college itself and required support for the students from the respective departments is also provided. Placement at KCG is excellent. The highest package offered is 6.5LPA and the average package is 4LPA. Almost 90 per cent of the students in my batch got placed. Students are eligible for placements from 3rd year of college itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
Without a doubt, campus placement is excellent at KCG. Almost 90 per cent of the students in my batch have been placed in top recruiting companies which include both service and product-based companies like Zoho, Infosys, TCS, Amazon, Cognizant, Kaar Technologies, Virtusa, Hexaware, Wipro, Accenture, Tech Mahindra etc., The placement is also good in core branches. Aptitude training and skill development training was also given to the students straight from their first year of college.
Campus Life
KCG has a great infrastructure with a green campus and spacious classrooms and labs. Overall 60 students can accommodate in a class and labs are air-conditioned with provided network facility. The computers in the labs are in very good condition.
