Remarks
Presently there are shops besides the Machine Tools Lab. Machine Shop: It has semi-automated lathes, millers, cutters and grinders. Experiments are designed in such a way that students get a feel of actual working condition. Fitting Shop: All fitting tools are available for training the students. Drilling, Power Saw and grinding units are also installed to serve as ancillary units to facilitate work connected with cutting, drilling and grinding.
Entrance Preview
i have passed 10+2 with at least 60% aggregate. Physics, Mathematics and any one of the four optional courses (Biology, Bio - technology, Chemistry, Computer Science) were compulsory in 12th standard. the admission process is all through merit basis.
Internships Opportunities
Industry Institute partnership cell (IIPC) is being established for enhancing the relationship between the institute and industry. This cell will identify the industrial expectation and promotes institutional preparation for meeting industrial needs by facilitating internship, sponsored R&D projects, seminars, workshops, placement and various other industrial training programs. Industry Institute partnership will also reflect in equipping faculty to latest practices and makes the students industry-ready by providing exposure to current industry practices
Faculty
Laboratories are important in the curriculum of Engineering, therefore all the branches of engineering offer many laboratories. The students are free to work on any projects they like under the supervision of faculty.
