The first step is to fill REAP form. The form costs approximately 800 rupees.In the form fill your preferred colleges. There are total three rounds of counciling. The selection in colleges is based upon JEE Mains result and 12 STANDARD board results. In CTAE, minning and Agriculture are the two renowned branch after that Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil branches are ranked in respective order. The application form and all required information can be obtained on the REAP official site.The admission process beings generally begins in June.The new session begins by august. There is an upgarde round after admission within the college where you can upgrade your branch if seats are available. This depends on your REAP rank, if someone ranked above you has opted for the same branch then they would be chosen for the seat available before you . Reservation is same as Jee mains . A certain number of seats are reserved for SC, ST , OBC and general ews

There is a fixed course curriculum. My course is mechanical engineering and I opted it as I was keen to study mechanics. There is approximately 1 teacher for every 40 students. The faculty is qualified, they are post graduate or gate qualified. The term exams usually are conducted in May and December. The schedule runs on time every year. The term paper are moderately difficult.

Students placement starts in mid of seventh semester. Computer Science and mining has good campus placement. Company's like secure meters ,vedanta gives a good placement. Almost everyone in the Computer Science branch get placed. And in other branch only few number of students get placement
