IBS kolkata in brief and crisp

I applied for the college through CAT/NMAT and also you can get in by giving IBSAT exam. 60% was the minimum required for the above-mentioned exams and selection also depends on the number of the applied students. I found the application by visiting the IBS website and other details were also there. I think it was a good and simplified process. It would have been better if we could have direct contact with the authorities.

I choose this course because of my personal interest in business and how to build an environment for it. In my IBS journey and I had a great learning experience. we had a very good teacher-student ratio which was about 8:1 and all my faculty were highly qualified and experienced too. My IBS journey started during covid pandemic yet my college simplified and adopted new learning methods smoothly and helped us to have a seamless experience through about 2 years of journey. We used to have 2 major exams and many exams each semester.

Companies like Bata, Skybits, RAD69, and Brand factory come for internship offers with their offer stipends. I had the opportunity to work with Skybits and I was assigned with generating leads for the company.

From the completion of the internship/2nd semester, you can sit for a placement. Companies like Delloits, Icici, college unit, and PWD come for the recruitment process. 99% of students get guaranteed placement with an average package of 7.2 LPA and the highest was 12LPA.

The free structure was around 8 lakhs which includes academic-only. In academics, courses fees, internship fees, and book fees were included. Our college provides scholarships of 8 thousand rupees each semester to deserving students. I got collegedunia as my company and package was 12LPA.

We had our course online due to covid still our college management did excellent during that period. We had smart classrooms, big library extracurricular activity rooms, library, and canteen. Also, we had many social and activity groups.

During my selection, I had to go through GD and a personal exam. My GD was about "Is it ok to link phone number with aadhar card?". I followed regular news articles and the internet to prepare for my interview.
