Abdul Samad Umar's Review On MET Institute Of Management - [MET IOM], Mumbai

I would say if anyone looking to go for Managent course then please opt for MET Bandra. The management is very helpful and college is also good in terms of studies extra curricular activities etc. At last i have two sentence to say. First is "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. Second one is " While I was in MET I was exposed to this world that I didn't know was possible.

I had taken the college entrance exam for pursuing my Masters Degree in Marketing. I scored 92% in the entrance. I opted this college because I am a working professional and the lectures were on weekend only for marketing and it was convenient for me to manage. It also hire the best teaching faculty. We also have seminars and industry reaction. This I had heard from my college who had studied there and now i have also experienced. Hence I joined MET.

The course curriculum was very nice. It would be ending soon in April 2016. Hence I have written "Miss You" in Title. Through this course I have developed new skills like planning,analysis,implementation and control. It has also helped me to develop my existing skills like marketing research, customer relationship management maintain beneficial exchanges with target buyers to achieve organizational objectives. I would like to rate this course as 5 star where 5 would be excellent.

It was part time course so we didnt had any Internship Programme. However we had a Indutrial visit at Volkswagen Plant. The full time course people has to do internship programme and they use to get paid for the same. So as being in part time course I am not aware about the internship and stipend provided.

It was part time course so there was no placement for us. Yes ofcourse college provide placement for full time course. So I am not aware of the placement or job opportunities. Yes I have seen the companies list who will be haveing the campus recruitment. I have heard that many people have got good opportunities with good companies after getting passed out.

Every year we celebrate MET Utsav. In this utsav we have dancing competition,singing competition,sports activities like football,cricket match indoor games like carrom and chess,guitar competition. Every year celebrity Mr. John Abraham innogurate this festival because he has studies in the same college.

The fee structure is feasible. The fees for the course is approx Rs. 2 lacs for three years. They also have loans facility and also gives us part payment facility. MET also sponsors for the students who are not capable to pay their fees.

MET provides scholarship facilty to the best students of the college and also sponsors the fees through their trust to those students who are incapable to pay. They also provides loan faciltiy from Axis Bank but i have not availed for the same.

The campus faciltiy is good. Our group had conducted one workshop to increase the literacy programme thorugh college. The campus has met with the quality standards and there is no bias in race,religion,politics,tolerance.

MET's canteen food is one of the good and best food. They provide hygiene food with quality and also at a basic cost. The tea ia specially one of the best they provide.

It was good experience with seniors where they had guided us in projects,exams,ptesentation,etc. MET has an open door policy that differianted us from other college. We use to speak to our alumni and they use to share the feedback and use to tell us how well they had used their Management skills in their organization.

Every year there are two semester conducted for our course. In all we have to give 6 semesters for three years and for every subject we have project assignment, presentations,black book with golden embossing on specific topic.

I liked about MET that they had hired one of the best faculty in the college. After working for 5 days in a week the lecture on Sat and sun were inspirational and motivational for us. The faculy including admin,accounts,teaching staff were very helpful. I will miss them.
