Remarks

The MMS from the MET Institute of Management was one of the best decisions of my life. I gained an extensive amount of knowledge from our faculty both personally and professionally. The MMS program was one of the finest courses offered by our institute which triggered the blending of different cultures. We got to visit many MNCs during our corporate visits and interacted with different people.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum was the backbone of our course. Our syllabus was pretty thorough and informative. It was a treat for inquisitive students to understand the corporate working model with the right context and live examples. We got to learn about managerial concepts, quantitative techniques, and decision making among others. Our final CGPA was calculated on the basis of internal assessments, external exams, summer Internship reports, and dissertations.

Placement Experience

3.5

Our college has an impeccable placement record. From my batch, 70% of the students were placed. Some also went for their own ventures or to join their family business. But still, there is a lot of room for improvement in terms of placement packages. During my batch, City, EY, IBM, Torrent Power was the leading recruiter.

College Events

4.5

Our college believes in the celebration of life and almost all the festivals are celebrated with utmost joy. All of our labs were digitized and had all the advanced tools for an advanced learning experience. Antarnad was THE event that featured some quality cultural performances and social awareness programs were organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My total course fee was around INR 4 Lacs, which was to be paid on a semester basis. This fee included registration fee, examination fee, caution fee, tuition fee, etc. The fee structure was expensive for me but the facilities they provided us were exceptional.

Campus Life

4

Our institute offers accommodation facilities at pretty nominal charges. Rooms were available on a double sharing basis and they had regular connectivity of water, wi-fi, and electricity. Our stay was pretty comfortable at the hostel. I made a lot of friends and created some of the best memories of my life.

Admission

The entire admission process is pretty simple. I applied on the basis of graduation marks. The next step in the selection process was the interview round which was pretty intense. They grilled me on the topics from my graduation and my managerial skills. Overall it went well and after that, I was granted admission.

Faculty

4

All of our faculty members were adequately qualified and supportive. They all had a plethora of corporate experience under their belt. Especially the big data faculty panel was very much talented and they prepared us to extract useful data from a large set of data. Faculty to student ratio was only around 1:14, which enabled the professors to allocate adequate time to each student.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
