Remarks

I have given the CLAT exam which is conducted by around 21 universities in India and based on the CLAT score I secured admission to FIMT college. This college has a maximum number of seats related to law courses so the admission process here is quite easy. Any student who has passed 12th with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose BBA-LLB because I was from a commerce background and I want to learn about law also. My commerce background helped me easily understand on BBA part and law part I have to learn new. The faculty is helpful and supportive. Faculty always conducted open discussion sessions which helps students speaking skills. Teachers take every month class test and there is a semester exam also as per the rule of the university. My course has a 5-year program so there was a total of 10 semesters. Question paper in semester exam is not so easy not so difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

I stay in a hostel for the total expense me was very high. College fees cost me around 3.5 to 4 lac for 5 years and hostel fees cost me around 4 lac for 5 years. College fees are not very expensive. There is no such scholarship and financial assistance provided by college even though I have taken an education loan.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many competitions held in college every year. For law students, the biggest event is moot court. The college has many courses and annual fest are celebrated by college students together. The college does not have a big playground still many sports events are happening in college on monthly basis. There is a total of 4 libraries in college and the law department has its own library. The college has very good crowd, if you love to interact with new people then there are lots of things you have to do in college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I was new in the city so i have decided to stay in hostel only. After one year i searched about PG but those are very expensive. Hostel provided us 4 time meal. Brekfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner are served in hostel mess. Meal quality was good and they have variety also in food. Hostel room has all basic things like marble, bathroom, common purified water, power back up, study table etc.

It's vast curriculum has made me like a lot of subjects and has also given me a real life applications and further academic achievement however I feel like the curriculum should focus on law subjects from the very beginning and teaching could be improved by further interactive session between students and faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.
