Course Curriculum Overview

Course was normal and we were the Last University batch students. Next college got Autonomous and there were strict rules on for the autonomous student. But we enjoyed a lot more freedom. and as extra curricular activities there are NSS, Rotaract and Sports and there are lot of opportunities to utilize and develop your skills. The college is great for Social Work studies. Many people known to me are in High position after Social work Studies.

Internships Opportunities

For Social Work students there were lot of companies came. But for others there were few companies which I dont remember the name even.

Placement Experience

All Social Work Students are placed in good position and other Students have to find their own job.

College Events

There will be MISS FEST. Whole college proramme and then there are Department wise Festivals in a year will be there.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans is to be applied by a student in Bank. Scholarships will be the TN govt. and university one which students can get through college office.

Campus Life

It was great experience to live in that campus. Lot of opportunities to explore your talents. 65% boys and 35% girls.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini students will turnover 30% every year.

Campus Life of a student in VIT

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good in VIT we have some sessions in which speakers are invited to deliver a lecture about how to get placed. Highest package in b.com was 15 lakhs and average package is 8lakhs lakhs. my plans after graduation is to do a professional course and continue my journey.

The 5th semester makes the students eligible for campus recruitment and then they often have campus recruitment from the month of November to may Pretty much VIPRO , KALIMARK and many other more MNC companies and much more visit the college for recruitment basis Most students don't opt for placements because they want to do a PG course but I would say 65% of people going for placements get one job or the other I plan on doing a PG as well
