Entrance Preview

There is no entrance required to join this college. I joined as a lateral. College was good with respect to infrastructure and staff head count. Recent upgrades to the overall college in terms of staff, Buildings etc were made. Fee structure is good and comparatively less.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was good you get to cover major aspects of the subject. and the faculty (not all but most) are well knowledged and guide you through.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship in BSNL communications there was no stipend as such.

During my time there we a very few companies. But as the IT boomed, now campus placements are rising.

Every year each branch conduct Tech Fests like kritansh they are national wide and grand with events like Paper Presentations, Robotic Shows, Tech Quizes etc.

Campus life would be awesome you have a campus wide WiFi. You see more or less 1:1 Gender ratio with student from all over the country have a good college ground (2 Grounds) and even bus facility.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
