Remarks

Management of college is very bad, because politics are involved, ONE faculty whose name is C.D PRASAD is ruling on the college because he is the member of RSS, and BJP government in RAJASTHAN.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE, score 149 marks, i selctc this college because this is government institute, and most omportant is that i have been allowted my interested branch i.e MECHANICAL ENGINEERING.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is very intersting for those who have interest to play with machines, creates new method for production according to market demand.Most important is in this branch we know the things which wee are using in our daily life.

Placement of the college is is good in last two years, students who are eligible are mostly placed, and they have got good package, about 4 lakhs per annum.company like JINDAL STAINLESS STEEL, INFOSYS, WIPRO, IGATE, ADANI POWER, DCM, etc

Hostel facility is very wrost, and mess food is also very wrost.

Exam Structure

They are very hectic, Back of many students are pending, they are not cleraing the back of the students, they put the previous marks when the students attained the back exam.reslut is 50%.

Faculty

The faculty of my college is very highly educated, some of them are from IITs, some are of them have done there Doctarate from FROGIEN, Faculty of my college are very coperative and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well the curriculam is good easily accesable and reachable and i have selected electronics only because i have interested in it from the very starting and the curriculam is good for me. Yes the curriculam helps to solve the real world probelm but not at all as most of it are theoritical and but some lab experiments and good. Exams are held every 2 months sometimes it become difficult to face the exams.

Placement of my college is decent for technical branches (Cs,It) it has decent but for core branches(petroleum, civil ) it has quite good placements. From 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Highest package is 44Lpa and lowest is 3Lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

Admission process was very tired. Admission happened through reap . Reap is an admission process. I didn't conduct any exam. But the reap rank was decided on the basis of jee mains rank. Forms for reap are available in June or july month. Application fees is not that high, it is quite reasonable. The eligibility of course is 4 years.
