Meerut Institute Of Technology is located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. If you want to take admission in this college then you must have completed your class 12th from any recognised board with PCM. Admission is done on the basis of Jee mains and Upsee counselling. You can take direct admission too through college website.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college variety of graduate courses like BBA, BCA, Agriculture, Btech etc. I've choosen for Btech in computer science due to more job opportunities in this sector. Teachers are well qualified. They have done Mtech or PhD. They are very supportive and polite. Classrooms are fully digitalised with projectors and classrooms are big. Labs are well equipped.

Our college provides good placement. About 75% students get placed in campus recruitment every year. Students get eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Highest package offered is 9 lpa while average package offered is 3.5 lpa. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Mahindra etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college charges moderate fee. It is a private college. Academic fees is 85000 per year which is quite low as compared to other private engineering college. Hostel charges are 54 thousands per year including mess facilities. Our college doesn't provide any kind of scholarships but you can avail scholarship from your state government.

Campus Life

Our college campus in big. There are many playgrounds like basketball court, volleyball court, cricket ground etc. Our college organises many fests and events on regular basis like dance fests, sports fears etc. Library is filled with lakhs of books. Management is very helpful.

Hostel Facilities

There are one boy's hostel and one girl's hostel in college campus. Hostels are very big. There is two seater or three seater rooms available. Gym facilities is available in both girls and boys hostel. Hostel fees is 54 thousand per year. Mess food is of decent quality.

The course feels a bit dated in 2026, and the University needs to update it in 2026 with the new AI modern tools coming. Apart from the course, I was also involved in social media activities in different internships and i learned a lot over there.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good here . Generally most of the comapnies that come here are for SDE roles but also many for consulting and DS roles . Students generally dont prefer the core roles so there are less companies visit for core jobs . Talking abt my course the highest package was 51 lakh by microsoft and the average was around 18 lakh . For the aollege highest package was around 1.6 cr. Around 1000 offers have been given for 252 profiles . In this 280 offers were PPO for final year student. Average CTC for whole college was 29.23 LPA. Around 80 percent of students get placed . Some people go for higher studies , some go for civil services .

The frequency of exams is fine but timings and schedules are but hectic with no leaves and continuous exams even two exams in a day sometimes . Well some of the courses are relevant and prepare students for the real world circumstances

placement is fully depends on you mostly service companies comes ingla also the placement you see which have high packages and good companies actually they are not from collage placements they take placement from external support but the university tag on him the placement is supported by gla which is false 1 of 50 student is placed remaining are placed at very low package like 20000 or 25000 my plans is to apply for good companies at my own

Our affordable and education oriented college

Placement Experience:

On the campus placement is good like if you have capability you can make throw it and they provide almost 3 to 4 lakh average salary and Anam I will say and highest package I have seen was 23 lakhs and 49 lakhs from a college and companies like Wipro TCS Amazon and HDFC and many other companies have came this year for placement and like we have a good placement cell and PDP and training classes

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is good as in core branches, most of the students get placements on-campus, infact these years good freshie paying scale company for core companies did visit the company and most of the IT sector companies also offer good packages. The average package is 5.5 lakhs. For ECE, Vivo, Kuka robotics, Ericsson and blauplug visited the college. I'm not really much aware about other branch's companies

Placement Experience:

1) students become eligible for placements from 7th semester onwards. 2) many companies visit our college like asbl,shl,deloitte,infosys,hcl tech , To the new and many startup based companies 3) highest package on campus was around 14 lpa and average package was around 4-4.5 LPA. 4) around 600-700 students got placed out of 1100 students. 5) my plan is to do masters.

The biggest reason for choosing this college over other college is the placment senario, as most of the company vist the institude at the time of placement. And the prepration for the company interview are manage by the college faculty as they find the weakness in the student and help them to improve in that part.
