About Sree Vidyaniketan Engineering College

There are two ways of getting into our college. 1. Through eamcet exam ranks 2. Management seat. I got 10000 ranks in eamcet and got the seat in IT in this college. And cut-off is varied from caste to caste. And overall college fee was structured to 970000 per year if u r getting through games. If in case you going through management, it will be based on the individual case. And improvements wise, seating facilities for parents or people can be increased.

1. Curriculum-wise, I am an IT student, so basically we expect coding subjects in the curriculum. And that was at its rock top position. Even placing the subjects in different semesters according to the order had helped a lot. 2. We had 2 midterm exams and one semester in 5-6 months time frame for each semester. 3. Coming to faculty, no. Of faculties will be based on headcount in that branch. In IT we had 120 students in 2 sections and we had almost 30+ faculty with pH. D and MTech as their degrees. 4. Teaching methodologies were good with different modes including projectors and in-class teaching.

Based on the company we get placed in, in 4-1, we went for an internship in 4-2 semester. With my case, I was placed in cognizant and I went for an internship in 4-2 with a stipend of 12000 per month for 5 months. As an intern, we do different projects with good outcomes.

Among the colleges in AP, our college is best in providing campus placements to the students with avg salary of 4-6lpa and the best of 30 LPA. Many MNCs will be called for recruitment and product-based companies as well. From 4th year 1st-semester students will be eligible for placements In our branch where there are 120 students, almost 90 students got placed in different MNCs like Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and many other companies

Again mentioning, we have 2 ways of getting into this college. 1. Eamcet 2. Management quota 1. Eamcet - college fee will be 97000 2. Management quota- college fee remains the same but on top of it people may need to pay an additional amount as a donation and it will be varied from person to person based on the time we get the seat. During peak admission times donations will be high in mainstream branches like CSE, ECE, and IT. Coming to scholarships, based on the government we will get different schemes through which we get 35000 as reimbursement. Placements are one best thing that are there in this college. Mostly all the students will get placed by end of the academic year. I got placed incognizant with a pay of 12000 in the internship period.

Mohana Mantra- this is one of the national level fests that will be organized in our college in October or November. And it will be conducted for 2 days which includes many technical and Nik technical fests and DJ nites. And for each department, there will b one technical association, where students in the association conduct different technical and nontechnical events for participants to enhance and increase capabilities of communication and remove inhibition, and a lot more. Sports day will be organized and there will be facilitation functions in which students will be awarded prizes and certificates for all who have won in the sports and games.
