Rayagada Autonomous College At A Glance

In this year the admission process was excellent.The application fees was 175 for SC and ST student's. I had paid this amount to SAMS in the website through online mode. Then after some days the college merit list was declared .I was selected in this college in the course Bachelor of Arts History Hons . The cut off marks for history hons student's in this year is 50%. Then I am adviced by the college to pay the admission fees of this year through online to SAMS . The admission fees is ?6592 which including the course fees per year is ?4000 and ?2600 for fees of first two semester examination. Then I submitted the required documents and got admission in this college successfully.

The duration of this course is three years . We have to clear all the six semester examination and six midster examination. We have to give two semester examination per year.There are four papers in our course. They are history core 1 and Core 2, Generic Elective and AECC for first semeter examination. I choose this course because this is my favourite subject from my school life. For this course there are five teachers in our college . They have good qualifications and experience in their subject. There are sufficient teachers in this college for this course .The teaching method of our Head Of Department is very i interesting. He explains the topic in a very excellent way. The midster examination ,term end or semester examination were held regularly. But it very easy to pass in the term examination.

The fees structure in this college is something high as compared to other government colleges. The admission fees per year is ?6592 which including the course fees ?4000 and the semester examination is ?2600 for History Hons BA student's. The cost of study is high in this college but the quality of education and facilities provided by college is not satisfaction. There is a library in our college which does not able to provide us books to all the students.

The Campus life in this college in not very good because they are not sufficient classrooms for all the college students. There is not sufficient book in the college library. So the college have to provide required to college student's. Book avaibility in college library is very importance for a college . If sufficient books is not available in library . There is a cricket field ,volleyball court ,kho kho ground ,kabadi ground is inside the campus .Student's were played there . Extra co curricular and sports were conducted in our college to selecting the students for give them a chance for State or National games. Recently in our college we celebrated Basant Mahotsav with all the teacher ,students and staff member's of the whole college. Different games and programmes were conducted .The winners were rewarded with money ?750 for 1 st winner .
