Entrance Preview

I did PET entrance exam in which i get 68 marks. But because of some reasons i could not enter in any counselling then i go through with college level counselling & get computer science branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good i think need to include PHP language subject in curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

Some of companis come here to place some student like axis bank, tcs, world soft technology, career key sol. etc.

Placement Experience

Companies come here but all these companies come to promote their company not for campus selection of student and VITS also promote college with companies. Some good companies also come here approx 2-3 in a year. Some of my seniors are placed also through these companies.

Sandhan technical festival is very famous in vits college where every student which are interested participate on this festival and organised their games & other students participate on this. I have also 2-3 ertificate of this festival.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee wavier schemes their for students also banks provide the graduation loan to students. In a fee wavier scheme if students family income is less then 2.5 lakhs then he/she is eligible for fee wavier scheme.

Course and curriculum we followed was of RGPV (Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya) which is outdated and was not in relevance with nowadays advanced technologies which was a demerit of this college.

Sunstone is planning placement for us as they promised a lest placement of 4lpa or more from the extra courses they are running and training is and also provides chances to sit in multiple interviews of companies. Companies like appzeto , even digit, Lancesoft many students git placement of 7lpa. After degree if I can get placement from sunstone sage I will get it or try to crack off campus placement.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

Placement Experience:

Good but not Bad

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester student can apply for internships and for placement student should be in 5th semester of his or her college life. There's very difficulties in getting placed by the company because few of the company comes to college and very fewer gets placed. So student must develop the skills on their own and apply for off campus selection. More than 8.5 cgpa for average package and more than 9 cgpa is required for a good company... I'm planning to give upsc exams after graduation

Placement Experience:

Not much helpful in terms of placements.not very big MNC companies visit there and average packages are not much high the faculty will not guide you about placements you have to prepare on your own and apply for offline placements.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th or 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. there are too many it companies visited here like TCS Infosys etc. The highest package in this college is 8lpa. From my point of view, this college is not suitable for good campus placement.

Nice college

Remarks:

College have about 8500 student in the campus in different section of UG/PG COURSES no. Of boys bs girls are approximate equal. College start from 8 am and ends up at 2 pm with two breaks between them. Different sports are also carried out like swimming,horse riding, cricket,volleyball,football etc.

Overall the college is good for Engineering

I have not apply for any other colleges because this college is good for CSE and near from my building. This is why I choose this college over other colleges.
