College is good if you choose Marketing as Specialization. Other specializations dont have good faculties. Management takes money for every silly activity like Newspaper subscription, event participation. Conclusion: College is very good with various facilities for students, and campus is best.

Entrance Exam: CMAT Score: 178/400, I took admission through MH DTE counselling, and i had given college preference list, i heard about Sinhgad from my friends who came for MBA previously. Management quota is also available, with donation amount starts from Rs 1, 50, 000. If the demand is good then it increases. Payment on installments is available but you will have to have a discussion with Institute's director.Sinhgad Institute of Management is the best college in comparison to other Sinhgad institutes. Ambegaon Sinhgad has best campus with various colleges and very good environment for students.

Course contained various subjects, First year is common to all then we had selected specialization. Our college had different specialization Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR, System, IT and International Business. They provided us with Case studies based on real life examples. College has tie up with Harvard for these case studies and Ms Excel. Different management games were also conducted in those two years.The syllabus was designed by Savitribai Phule University (Previously Pune University). SIOM provides MBA degree.

Internship was not that much good, various large corporates come like Idea, TVS, Zensar, Kotak Bank, etc. Most companies provided a stipend between 2000-5000 per month. Some companies were good they had given good stipend as well as certificates for good performance.

Total Companies came: 400 and more, Total Placed: 600 Students Capacity of SIOM, in which 400 placed. Packages offered by most companies: 2.4-3 LPA by 80% companies4-5 LPA 3-4% companiesCompanies Came: Colgate, ITC, Reliance Communications, Vodafone, Delloite, Kotak Bank, HDFC, Tata Telecommunications, Reval Analytics, ICICI, Idea, City Bank, kalyani Forge, Satguru Travels, IBM, Zensar etc.

For Sinhgad Institute of Management: Fee structure for first year= Rs 1, 52, 000, second year= Rs 1, 65, 000. It does not include examination, extracurricular, games, industrial visit, newspaper charges. College fee is same for all specializations.

Scholarship is available to only Maharashtra students. Outside maharashtra students get no scholarship. Samajkalyan scholarship is available for MH students. I dont have any idea about college giving loan to students as i have not got any instance for this.

Best campus ever, Gender Ratio is good: 950/1000.Huge event Karandak( Annual Function week): Celebrities come and perform, inter institute competitions for dancing, singing, street play, fashion show, robotics cometition.Student union is there, every year president is selected. All race and religion students can be seen, students from abroad also come, like Afganistan, Iran, Africa. Arth cell, Green Cell for social cause and environment protection.MBA competitions called Spectrum event, with various management games, case studies, branding Hostel parties are not allowed, for girls night timing 9 PM. for boys it is open whole night but strict checking is done if a boy comes late then only entry to hostel. Good security with cctv camera in hostel and premises. No boys allowed to go near girls hostel in night.

Alumni network is strong, alumni of 1998 batch come in every Induction program each year. Every year on January or February alumni meet is conducted by college, various seniors come and enjoy. they also give their experience of college and their current job scenarios. Which options to choose/ which field is best etc.Alumni interaction is conducted every year, even they come for guest lectures. Seniors conduct various management events and also give juniors opportunity to perform and conduct the events.

Computer labs: Easily handles online exams.Semester pattern, classrooms are good with projectors and proper exam instructions are followed. Sometimes due to server problem online exam halts. otherwise no problem. Good invigilation per class 2 teachers. Morning and Evening shift exams so college can handle lots of students in these two timings.

Faculty for Marketing were well qualified with more than 10 years of experience in corporate. Apart from that they had teaching experience more than 3 years. Most teachers are Ph.Ds. Specialization in HR/Finance/IT: Not good, faculty is not available. Part time teachers are teaching, but no deep knowledge of subject. Even placements are not good for these specializations.
