Good campus life and good experience at FIMT

I took the CET exam which is conducted by IP University. My rank was around 400 which help me to secure admission to this college. Any student who has passed 12th class with a minimum of 50% marks from any stream are eligible for B.C.A course. The overall admission process was good because the college provided very good counselling. I have not availed of reservation benefits.

I choose this course because I want to study Information technology and this industry is growing at a high speed in India. The faculty are great and friendly. Most teachers are from a young age with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Faculty provide practical knowledge and maintain friendly behaviour with students. The faculty and student ratio are 1:9.

Placement at our college is more than average. A total of 200 students attended campus placement and around 170 students get offers later. The highest package was 4.8 lac per annum and the average package was 280000 per year. 85% of students from our course get placement. The top recruiting company were HP, Genpact, IBM etc.

Fees are feasible and not very much expensive for this college. The total fee for one year is around 65000 which included 2 semesters. The total fees for a 3-year course are around 200000 which included security money and some other activity charges also. There is no such fees hike policy of the college. Overall the cost of study here is pocket friendly according to industry standards.

The campus life of college is overall good. The gender ratio between boys and girls are 60:40. There are many parties and tech fests are conducted on monthly basis by college management. The college encourages every IT student to participate in a tech fest. There are many societies in college like Drama society, Dance social group, Photography group, sports team etc. The classroom has all amenities like a big whiteboard, air conditioning, drinking water, proper light, comfortable bench and chair etc.
