Remarks

The eligibility criteria for getting admission into a B.Tech program is that you should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with an aggregate of 45% and then you have to apply For Ts Eamcet which is an entrance test after application your hall ticket will be issued with which you can attend the exam. It is an MCQ-based exam in order to qualify one needs to score 40% marks. If qualified there will be online counseling where you have to select colleges according to your preference there will be 3 phases of counseling seats will be allotted based on eamcet rank.The application fee was INR 250 last year but it may change.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Tech is of the most popular courses for students who have an interest in Technology and its applications. I choose civil engineering as I want to become an Architect. The course curriculum is made in a way that students should not feel any burden It is a 4-year course and there are 2 semesters each year amounting to a total of 8 semesters for the whole course. The ratio of Faculty and students is 1:45 in this college.Ellenki has faculty who have many years of experience in their respective fields and they focus more on practical learning methods.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for B.Tech(Civil Engineering) at ellenki college of engineering is Rs 65000 per year I think it is very less when compared to other engineering colleges. There is no extra fee other than exam fees which you have to pay before each semester's exams. Students from the Minority and SC/ST categories have opportunities for State scholarships.I got a scholarship for the complete course you can apply for the scholarship on ts pass but there is a lot of paperwork so keep documents ready. There are no jobs on campus you have to look for work outside of college.

Campus Life

The campus life at ellenki college of engineering is awesome the college is very big and it is situated outside of the city. The only problem is transportation there are very few buses and they are not on time. There is an annual fest held in the college every year which is fun and enjoyable. The library is very small and there are not many books available there. The classrooms are not that big but the infrastructure is very good. Faculty encourages students to participate in sports and other extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

Placement Experience:

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

The Good, The Bad, and Unexpected Truth

i got into the admission into the college through eamcet examination and also got a good rank in that. The thing is , i didnt choose many colleges while selecting the colleges for admission , i choosed only my college i.e Ellenki college of engineering and technoly to take admission because i recieved a good review about the college from my senior brothers and i liked the college too. The main thing is The college is very near to my home and i dont have to waste a lot of time in travelling .
