An overviews of Rayagada Autonomous College

I had applied for the college seats online on the website samsodisha.gov.in. The application fee is 175 for SC and ST students. I have been selected by this college for the BSc Mathematics course. The admission process was conducted in our college, I had paid 7113.00 in online mode to SAMS for the course fees and semester fees. The cutoff mark for Mathematics Hons this year is 54%. Yes, I get reservation benefits.

There are four subjects in Mathematics Hons , We have to give two mid-ster exam ,two semester exam ,two practical exams in a year. There are three teachers in our Mathematics department ,Two sir have a qualification of PhD and one madam have a qualification of M.Sc. in Mathematics Subjects. I choose Mathematics subject because this is my favourite subject. The teaching method our Mathematics sir is excellent and very interesting to me. But it depends upon the students to catch the knowledge. We given mid-ster exam recently and I scored average marks in that exam.

The fees structure in this college is different for different courses. For BSc Mathematics students it is 7000 per year which includes 4000 for course fees and 3000 for semester fees. Names of the scholarship are post-matric scholarship, e-Medhabruti scholarship, etc. The students staying rented or day scholar students get a scholarship of 5000 per year.

Life at the college campus is good. We celebrate the annuals festival in our college. Recently we celebrated Basanta Mahotsava in our college. At this festival, we enjoyed a lot in participating in different games and programs. Prices were distributed to the winners. There are available books and journals in the library. There are kabaddi, kho-kho playground, cricket ground, Volleyball courts inside the college campus. Whatsapp groups were created by our teachers for giving educational information.
