Entrance Preview

I gave the entrance exam for B.A.(Hindi, Geography) program and i don't have remembered that how many marks i score. I opt this college because its a very good college of my region. Its very good in education, discipline and other activities from other colleges and i can say that it's good from Gorakhpur University also.

Internships Opportunities

This college is not a technical college. So, no one company came for placement because no need to campus selection cause of every private company needs a technical student not a general student.

Placement Experience

This college for general graduation, post graduation and research. So, no one company came for campus selection because every private company needs a technical students whose skilled in a particular field which is required for private company and government companies take the entrance exam. They don't do the campus selection.

College Events

College conduct many competitions like debate, painting, singing, dancing, online computer quiz and so many competitions. Its also conduct Gandhi Quiz and Nehru Quiz. In this quiz they ask the question about Gandhi's and Nehru's life, role in Indian movements, politics etc.

This college provide the scholarship every student whose belongs from economic weaker section, SC and ST.

Campus Life

Campus life is to good and gender ratio is approx 60 :40 and students belongs from every religion, caste and class. No any social prejudices are here. No any cases of sexual harassment, untouchability. Politics is not allowed in this college and ragging is totally banned. This college make social to every student and also try to awake ethical values in students.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is annual system but if any subject required practicals like chemistry, physics, zoology, botany, geography etc. Then its provide every time for students and every day is chilled out and no other tension related study or college administration.

A mixed bag of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate course curriculum as not satisfactory because we are loaded with so many core courses in first two years of the college which were meant to provide the basics of the history and then in next two years we are given electives to choose from which I find useful. I would suggest at least to give one more semester for comprehending the basics of the history.

?I dont remeber clearly about the eligibjlity process but i think from the sem5 students are eligible for the placement campus im not sure about it ?many companies like Pan India ,Sbi ,axis bank etc visited in the campus ?the avarage package i have seen from the student got the 4 to 5 Lpa And the hight i think its 13Lpa ?60% PECENTAGE OF STUDENTS getting placemnets ? my plans are diffrent ,after completing my degree i want to go further for the film making

Remarks:

Any of my siblings studied from this college which gave me a clear view of the environment of this college from the start. It was also very close to my home making it easier for me to commute daily. And as I always wanted to study in an all girls college, this seemed a better option. It had good faculty and infrastructure making it different from other colleges around.

St. Andrew's College :- Everything in a Nutshell

I applied for the PG Entrance and application fee was just ?1250. Then in entrance exam there were 70 questions and no-negative marking. I got the 7th rank. The difficulty level was medium for half of the exam and remaining are easier or too hard. You just have to look at whole syllabus for once and you'll definitely crack it. Try to correctly answer as far as you can, and randomly tick the others as there is no negative marking. The competition is too low. For 70 seats there were about 500 applications. 90 minutes are enough for you. Also if you are eligible for some sort of reservation then you don't have to worry at all.
