Experience was very good

My experience with SIBM was really good. There was room for improvement because I was part of 1st batch. and such improvements are taken care by college in last 2-3 years.

I appread for MH CET and Scored - 117 marks out of 240. I opted for SIBM because it was nearer to my location.

The 2 years MMS programme includes four periods per day. There is an assessment and a short break. The programme which provide you with a solid understanding of the key management disciplines.

I did the summer internship with Relinace Portfolio Management & Mutual Funds. The project was to differentiate between Relinace Portfolio Management & Mutual Funds services. No stipend were offered during my 6 months internship.

Placements were good, most of the students from our Batch were placed to good companies, but the salary wasn't really satisfying. Most of them got around (3-4 Lacs PA).

Sinhgad Group held one annual event every year in Pune university. The event is very nicely managed and conducted every year. Every college of SINHGAD Group get invite for this event.

Total cost of MMS in Sinhgad was around 2.25 lacs. we need give the same to college in 2 installments start of 1st sem and and start of 3rd sem. Sufficient time were given to me to arrange funds. as I had taken education loan.

I took educational loan to fund my MMS from Allahabad Bank. Rate of interest was around 11%. I opted for EBC (Economically Backward Class) as my family income was low. In which I got some refund of fees.

Gender ratio was around 4:3 Male:Female in our batch, external workshops were taken in every month. Budget was the issue because I was part of 1st back of SIBM Mumbai.

Alumni meet is arranged every year by college staff. Students of every batch asked to attend the same. It helps college to set network with companies. Useful for placement prospects.

In every sem we had to appear for Unit exam and final sem exam. also oral and presentations were taken during every semester.
