A Good Learning Experience

One has to write CAT & get a good percentile to make it to AIM. The college considers this eligibility criterion for admission. I had to go through GD and PI to get selected in AIM. Students can find the application form, application fees on AIM's official website. I did not avail of any reservation benefits. I'm satisfied with the admission process.

I have chosen this course because I was interested in Marketing and wanted to learn marketing concepts & techniques. The faculty is very friendly and always used to support us to come up with case studies and solve them. The faculty has over 9+ yrs experience in teaching PGDM in Marketing.

I have interned with Cafe Coffee Day in New Delhi for 3 months as a quality auditor. College provided me with the internship opportunity to learn something new and also I get to experience the corporate world. As a quality auditor, my responsibility is to visit each cafe and check for Standard Operating Procedures and see that everything is in place.

Placement opportunities are quite good. During my time, companies like Kotak Mahindra Bank, Property Pistol, Jaro Education, Coffee Day Beverages, etc have visited. On average, these companies have offered 8 lakh per annum. 90% of the students got placed.

The fee structure on the whole for the 2 year PGDM program in Marketing is 8,75,000. I didn't get any kind of scholarship as I'm not on the merits list. I have got placement in Jaro Education for a package of 7.5 lakh.

Campus life at AIM is very good. I have a lot of memories with my friends. There is a huge central library with the availability of numerous books related to management education, novels, journals, magazines, etc. The classroom is well equipped with a smart screen and centralized AC. Every year sports event is organized for the students to encourage them to participate in extra-curricular activities.

I have been through GD and the topic given to discuss was on the Indian economy. In a personal interview, I was asked about my educational background, my personal details, what I'm looking forward to learning at AIM etc.
