Eligibility of this course is 10th pass or 12 pass students. I have given this entrance after completing the 12th class. The name of the entrance exam was JEECUP. Anyone can find the application form easily on the website of JEECUP and find the information related to this entrance. Application fees are 350 for gen/obc and 250 for sc/st. I belong to the general category So I didn't get any reservation benefits. The admission process is overall smooth and easy to do.

I selected the computer science and engineering branch to pursue a diploma from Government Girls Polytechnic, Moradabad. I personally want to learn very much about computer science because in today's world computer is life and also computer science is the future. If I talk about the faculty:student ratio in this college, this ratio is about 50:1. Since there are different subjects of every branch so many educated teachers are there to teach. Teachers are really very educated, except for their degrees they also have knowledge of the world (they teach in many ways not only bookish language). This course is of 3 years in which students have to give 6-time exams of 6 semesters. Exams are not so difficult to pass but yes we need to give our best then only we can pass these exams as the checking system is difficult here.

Placements of this college are average. However, almost every student (who needs a job) gets placement in a different company, but the package provided is average. Most students get a package of around Rs1,70,000. The highest package offered is Rs2,00,000 and the average package offered is Rs.1,70,000. Profile offered is as a software engineer. Almost 90% of students get placements and 10% choose to study further. I am also currently doing the job.

The fees structure is Rs.11010 yearly, I think it is quite affordable for most of the students. Also, there are 2 types of scholarships given to the students every year. One scholarship to all the students for every year and branch; in this whole fees, i.e., 11010 comes back to the students account with some extra money. The students who stay in hostel get some more scholarships because they have also been given hostel fees. The second scholarship is saksham Balika Yojana in which only the top 3 students of every class get scholarships from the government. So. overall this course is very much affordable. Jobs are provided to students on campus with the maximum amount of Rs15000 per month from companies like VVDN technologies, Flipkart, etc.

Here campus life is not good, strictness is more than enjoying also with the study. A sports meet used to be held every year in the month of December in which many sports like high jump, race, badminton, table tennis, javelin throw, disc throw, etc. This sports meet is held in every Govt. polytechnic college of UP. The top 3 students of every game (every college) then have to go to State championship. So, this is about the sports meet. In the library, all the books are available for every semester and branch. Students can easily issue any book from the library after completing a simple process.
