Remarks

Bad things was faculty was not experienced. Very expensive for middle class. Though its batter than any other government college.

Entrance Preview

I has passed out GCET in 2010 and i had scored 129. I choose this because i am interested in computer applications.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course was latest including framework c,JAVA,NET and all other languages. Case studies,assignment was also there. All latest technologies were included at that time.

Internships Opportunities

No in IT we have to find companies and most of is paid. Its very difficult to find a company which is paying stipend to student. Luckily i got a company which was paying me 1500 as a stipend.

Placement Experience

Lots of companies are coming for a placement most of companies having criteria of overall 60%. Some of the companies are require bond of 2 years.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In 2010 yearly fee was 55000 exam fee 2000 and other expenses. It was too much expensive other expense like travelling, assignment etc.

Campus Life

There was nice computer laboratory, good infrastructure, library, healthy green campus college has won green campus of the Gujarat award. .

Exam Structure

Semester system,every month 1 sessional exam was there and 1 final. Every one can easily pass the exam. You are paying fees so you will be passed. If you are on NRI sheet admission no worry about attendance or exam you will 99% get degree.

Faculty

Very few faculty was good like chirag pate, Jamin was very knowledgeable. College hires just fresher or recently passed out student as a faculty. Faculty who has no industry experience or a very a very little experience is teaching student.

An honest review

Placement Experience:

Usualy placements are held in last year and in some courses last sem consists of Internship. So for MCA students placements starts at Sem-3 and Internship starts in Sem-4. Big campus often visits campus like Google, Microsoft, Oracle and so many more.

Life of LJ University Students

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are average.At the time of admission they told us that 100 % placement is there. But only 30% got placed from our college. Many companies visited for placement. The highest package was 12 LPA - 18 LPA , company name rtcamp.

The reality of GMIU

Placement Experience:

There are placement available but experienced people are saying that they sends you in the waiting list but never calls and if they call you then they make contract of 11 months and then you know... From the second semester you are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies who came but not made an offer but I'm not allowed to tell you that. Around 40-50% are getting placed. I'm currently interen at Meetanshi so I'm planning to join them in future.

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for placement from 3rd semester. And some companies like BBD and differenz were there for placement i.e. around 25 other companies. The average package for stiphen was 7000-12000 and for salary was 15000. Also 80% students got placed from campus placement but only 10% got the job through it.

Remarks:

Some of the staffs are not good in the student section. In normal days you can sit in the reading room for only 8 am to 6pm. Some staffs are rude, some staffs have attitude that they are of BE teachers which is better than MCA, lol.
