Remarks

I joined the college on the basis of my VITEEE exam rank though 30% of the seats are allotted through EAPCET. One can apply for the VITEEE examination online on the official website. I placed VIT-AP first in my priority order during counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose computer science as it is omnipresent and highly paid compared to other fields. The faculty is truly awesome. Most of them have doctorates in their respective fields. The teaching is excellent. One gets to choose their faulty from their second semester. There are three exams in total for a semester. (two unit tests and one final assessment test). I must say the exams are quite difficult and are based on applications.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is based on the rank you score in the VITEEE exam. There are up to 5 categories. If you score a seat in the first category, then the fees if 2 Lakh per annum. (excluding hostel fees) and an increase of one lakh for each category.

Campus Life

There are numerous clubs of various kinds run by students. One can participate and involve in various club activities. The annual fest and tech fest are conducted once a year. The classrooms are clean and well ventilated. Libraries are accessible. The college encourages sports and extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placement drives in campus. There are many companies that visit our college some of them are wipro,Accenture,Tcs, etc they made many offers in packages and still our college is developing. Highest package is around 13 lpa and average package is 6 lpa as per companies offered. Many students get the campus placement some of them are with high package. My plan is also to get a better job opportunity in our college placements.

I have applied for two more colleges such as Andhra University and SRM AP beside VIT AP. But I gave the first preference to this college based on the reference of my seniors. I did not get rejected from any other colleges. The admission process of my university is of two different ways; based on the entrance exam VITEEE and through EAPCET exam. The eligibility to join is based on the rank released after the appearance of examination.
