College management spends more money on infrastructure development, like auditorium and meditation center. These money comes from no where but student fees. Kindly manage the money in other important facilities.
Entrance Preview
AIEEE. Rank was not that great, but I opted this college because of its academics and campus placement. It was a girls college, an believe me, the confidence that I have today to take care of myself and build my carrier and future, is because it was a girls college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum of my college, i.e. Mody Institue of Technology and Sciences was perfectly planned and executed. It covers the portions in deep for computer science students and other streams also.
Internships Opportunities
No stipend, as I went to Indian Air Force Base Repair Depo, Chandigarh, for my internship. Being an electronic student, there was so much exposure to the air craft related equipements and a detail study of few.
Placement Experience
Placement was 80-90% Companies like Infosys, Samsung, IBM, Accenture, TCS, Sony, offering an initial package of 3.5-6 lkh.
College Events
There were many like Founders Day, Engineers Day, Technical Fest, Sports Festival, Dussehra Mela, to name a few.Technical Fest was organised by the students themselves.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was still feasible in my time, but has increased almost twice now. Also depends on the kind of hostel you have opted for. Single AC, Single Non AC, Double AC, Double Non AC, all options were present.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not availed any scholarship / loan facility offered by my college also I have no idea about the same.
Campus Life
No gender intolerance as it is a girls college. Hostel parties were arranged by the owners, so it was with in the time limit workshops were conducted regularly such as robotics workshop.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are best of its kind. Also the food was prepared with proper cleanliness and taste. Mess and cafeteria were always kept clean.
Alumni/Alumna
Connected with them through social networking site, but no interaction as such also alumni meet is not conducted for old students, in my college only the last year pass out are invited.
Exam Structure
It was properly planned and neither hectic nor chilled out. Semester exams were 2 times each year, and also some additional minor tests use to take place.
Faculty
Faculty of my college,i.e. Mody Institue of Technology and Sciences, are well educated, knowledgeable and most of them are friendly in nature. They are well efficient to complete out course on time.
