Remarks

The students are more interested in practical knowledge so instead of just theories more practicals like hand on trainings should be implemented and the way unit tests are conducted is bad and more proper exams should be conducted.The students really feel

I got admitted into the prestigeous college through my higher secondary examination and my cutoff marks in the respective examination.One must score more marks to get availability in my college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The department of mechanical engineering is one of the best course in my college with having the biggest machine laborataries including thermal and automobile laboratories with big valuable engines.The staffs are so generous in teaching the students especially more research oriented programmes are taking part nowadays.

Internships Opportunities

The college wont be providing any internship and you will have to get internship form major leading comnpanies and the college will provide all the necessay permissions for you.

The placement and training cell is headed by the placement officer, dr. v. rajkumar / associate professor

College Events

Every month ther will be a function and once in a year we celebrate geco fest our most rated function and u should really love the festivals.each department will have a sympsium.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college providing good hostel rooms with low budget such as 10000 for an year and in the final year single rooms will be availbale.The mess food will be good with around 1100 per month and if not good outside food is also available.

Fees and Financial Aid

More scholarships such as tamilnadu government scholarships for college students and jindal steel limited(jsw) merit scholarships and the central sector scholarship for meritorious students provided by central government are available. I was receiving the central sector scholarship for meritorious students during 2010-2014.

Campus Life

The campus is one of the best campus with having the peaceful atmosphere and is located on a 162 hectares site surrounded by hills.it also library block, the canteen, the health center, the planetarium, seven hostel blocks, five messes, the recreation halls and the residential accommodation for the staff members of the college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni association is really great especially nowadays the passed out students comes to help the poor people who are not able to pay their tution fee and mess bill.asssociations called h2s is started in year 2013 and since then nearly 200 students got benefited from this association.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

I chose this college because I am a resident of this city Salem and wanted to be a day-scholar. This college is also NAAC accredited with A+ grade and also stands as the higest graded government engineering colleges in the whole state of Tamil Nadu. The transport facility for reaching this college is also easy for me as there is availability of college bus which goes around the city to pick up the students i.e. the dayscholars all around the city. I didn't get any rejection from any other college because I got this college in my first round of counselling itself and so did not go for any other options and was not rejected by any. In tamilnadu, government school may have some sort of issues in the parents' point of view. But their point of view to the government colleges is really high when compared to private colleges.
