IIT Bhilai Review

New IITs are gaining lots of popularity in recent years they are really becoming a very good option for the average person like me. The new IITs like IIT Bhilai are becoming a very good option for providing world-class education and placement plus their cutoff marks are also not too high and plus they are very affordable too. As the college perfectly goes with my preference I filled the application form through the college official website by paying a fee of Rs 200 online. I was called for PI after getting shortlisted on the basis of my GATE score and my academic score.

The curriculum of the college is flexible and up to date, the curriculum is designed in a way that if there is any industrial change the curriculum can be easily updated. The curriculum imparts us with all the basic knowledge of circuit designing and electrical systems etc in detail and deeply. The faculty is also very generous and highly expertise in their respective field. The faculty of the college is not only of PhD standards but also very good industrial exposure. The faculty are easily approachable as most of the faculty are young so they properly us to understand our mindset and help us to clear our doubts if we are stuck in any concept.

The internship is part of the curriculum and we have to complete at least 9 weeks of the internship program. We have to register our details with the college placement committee after taking part in the college internship program. The average stipend for internships approx 45k.

In a very short period of time, the college provides very good placement packages. The highest package was around 20 LPA and the average package is around 10 LPA. All thanks to the placement committee of the college as they are aware that to compete with the best in business they have to focus on the placement drive and by helping us to receive good packages. The college placement is very cooperative and they help us through the college placement rounds so that we are able to receive good packages.

The college course fee for the M.Tech program is 90000 which is very affordable in comparison to many IITs available in India. In short, I can say that IIT Bhilai is one of the affordable IITs that provides very good placement packages with an average salary package of around 10 LPA which is a very good return on investment. The college also offers scholarships through various schemes like Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship, SC/ST Scholarship, Free Studentship Scholarship, Fellowship to Postgraduate.

The college is really very good. The college campus life is friendly. The college strictly follows a no-ragging policy around the college campus. The college classrooms are big and spacious. The college labs are modern and all types of research tools are available in the college labs. The college library is the house of many international and national bestseller books and the library also has many international journals available which are very helpful during the class assignments.

The hostel has very good facilities. Every floor of the hostel has a washing machine facility for laundry. The rooms are big and properly ventilated. The hostel mess food quality is good and the food is cooked in a hygienic environment. The menu keeps on changing at regular intervals. The hostel has 24 hours water and power supply and we are also provided with a WiFi facility on the hostel campus. The hostel has all kinds of modern facilities available for us.
