Remarks

This college does not provide good facilities. But infrastructure and teachers are average. Placements: placement average here we don't get Desire package job. They also don't provide internship. Students have to find the internship by their own they also not provide the free courses subscription discount like others college provides. Infrastructure classroom libraries and laborateries are spacious. The building is of seven floors. Laborateries are good and they have all required things . Library is vast and there is a study environment for students.

Teachers of our college are qualified but not as much when it comes to teaching skills.Some faaculty member are very good in terms of helpfulness and teaching.The course curriculum is as per Mumbai University .

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee per year is around in range of ?123000- ?147000.There are scholarships available from government of maharashtra for students who have domicile of maharashtra in which students get 50% of there fee amount back from government. SC/ST/TWFS fee is around 16k and OBC is around 70k .

Campus Life

College is located in Ulhasnagar nearer to ulhasnagar railway station, first it was in Worli , But shifted to ulhasnagar in year 2017.College is decent and has a good atmosphere from my view.The College doesn't provide Wi-Fi and sports facilities.Labs are well maintained.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. I got admission through cap allotment,cap round 1.its not a tough process,but when you are applying through cap rounds you are supposed to go through a lot of process and document validation and filling multiple forms. But,once you are assigned to this college through cap allotment,your documents will be ready with you for sure,you just have to validate in the office and pay the fees.
