Remarks

Science background, Admissions are done in three ways, jee score, Neet score, and the university's own entrance exam called SAAT. You can find the application form and all of the admission details on the official page of SOA i.e soa.ac.in You can also contact the faculties if you want from the website itself. You can get reservation benefits for admission if you are an st/sc, OBC, or female candidate. Admission cut-off is pretty low too and you can easily crack it. Admissions for the biotechnology department are usually done between June and July after the declaration of the 12th board results. And it varies for other departments.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

All faculties have a doctoral degree and their teaching quality is pretty much decent. They have pretty good knowledge about their respective subjects and are really friendly, to be honest. They are always eager to solve your doubts personally any time of the day in WhatsApp, call, or in person. Term exams happen in every one month gap which is a bit hectic but the difficulty level of the paper is quite easy. Teachers already provide you with exam specific study materials and you can pass the exam easily with good marks by just overnight study and being attentive in the class.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are really good and companies based in Delhi give us opportunities for internships but you do not get any stipend for it. You will get the pretty good lab experience required to get industry-ready. Projects are good too and our teachers are also our mentors and guide in projects if you want in your final year also you get to do projects in your 6th term too under University teachers. But in the 10th term, you can go for internships outside also.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite reasonable compared to other universities and courses. My course cost 85k p.a and the price hikes every year. You get scholarship money every year depending upon your 12th board scores minimum being 70% atleast and also you need to score a minimum of 8 CGPA in term exams. There aren't any part-time campus jobs available right now for our course. But you can get a placement on our campus after the completion of your course.

Campus Life

5

Our annual fest is called Amity festival which happens every year in March. All sorts of social events and entertainment happens. It's one of our biggest event. It didn't organised since last two years due to COVID. Library has ample amount of books and journals related to our course and even books for entrance exam related to our course. You can issue books and keep them till your term ends. Classrooms are pretty much decent and school classroom type. It has smartclass and white board and spacious. There are various sports clubs and tournaments happen in our campus. We have huge basketball court and tennis court and badminton court. There are various social groups and clubs for the students according to their interests run by students. We have dance club, arts club, music club, Literary Club, fashion Club, drama club, and so on and on, the list goes long. And they organise various events throughout the year both online and offline. They also mentor the students and help them.
