Remarks
The current admission process is good. I love it as it is. The eligibility of this course is to appear in OJEE /NEET/JEE and secure a good rank. To get the application form and other information I had contacted our college's clerk. He'll do all the work so. There's no such thing as reservations in our college. Because it mainly focusing on talent. For the top 5 students they provide free tuition Fees. Shame I was the 7th XD
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I'm quite interested in medicines and medical faculties. Here the professors are highly qualified and trained they hold lots of degrees too. As for exams for B Pharm there are 8 semesters (main board) and class tests referred as internal exam. 2 internals for each semester. If you want to pass the semester just listening to the professors during the class is enough to get atleast 7CGPA. To get more you'll be needing self studies and a little bit of hard work.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't experienced any internships so I don't have any idea because of this pandemic. But I've heard from seniors that they had been to internships like medical colleges and companies like Cipla etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Cost to study: 58000 for tuition Fees and 16000 for hostel fees. And there's a meals charge that's on average 3000 rupees per month. Because of the pandemic, we haven't attended any internships so I have no idea about it.
Campus Life
There's a big social group or organization is running named AOBPSA(All Odisha BPUT Students Association) We have Whatsapp groups, Twitter, and Facebook pages as well. Here they provide news on different events of our course as well as group discussions.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fee is 16000 per year. There is separate boys and girls hostels. For girls hostel at one room 3-4 person. For boys hostel at one room 4-6 person. The meals are really good. But choosing nonveg would be better. 4 days a week will be nonveg. They provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Girls get Sunday for outing Boys get every day for outing XD There's a huge filtration system for water so it won't be a problem. For the washroom, it's being cleaned every single day so no need to worry about it. It's located near neelakantha nagar. There's only one shop near our college which sells candies and snacks. The nearest ATM is about at a distance of 1km. So it won't be a problem. We can order food online as well.
