I applied to INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY AND TECHNOLOGY, SALIPUR college as my 1st preference and also got admitted there as my rank was suitable for the college. I choose this college because of its reputation and high placement rate.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum is book based. There is also some real life methods during seminars held in 3rd and 4th year of graduation. But semester exam is most easy thing than the internal exams which is also helpful for us.
Placement Experience
Almost 95% students get placement in this college at pharma companies at places like Delhi Mumbai at minimum salary of 15000rs to 20000rs. But the minimum percentage should be 80 to 90% to get the placement. I plan to do MPHARM after the BPHARM course.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am Rudra Narayan Tripathy. I pay 91500 rs as tution fees, 15000rs as hostel fees, 2000 caution fee and 36000 for food per year. I get 20000 rs as a scholarship from government. All my batchmate pay the same amount.
Campus Life
There are 2 main festivals done in our college per year. Both are for 5 to 10 days One is annual sports and another is annual function. There is a library of very good Books. The practical is very good than the theory.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel has very good facilities like aquaguard water, but the food quality is low. They took a total of 56000rs per year for bed charge and food. The college is also at 2 kms from hostel and we have trip for atleast 4 times which very difficult for us
Faculty
There is 20 to 30 faculty members. There is also 500 to 600 students. I liked my organic chemistry teacher and dislike my biochemistry teacher. There is total 2 internal and 1 semester exam per semester resulting total 24 exams in 4 years of graduation.
