Remarks

Entrance is jee mains & 12th board based through REAP. Need to registration in Reap through website & choose Rajasthan State engineering colleges. Before 2022 Mbm College run by jnvu but now mbm become University.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are few colleges for mining engineering in India. Mbm is the one of best colleges in rajasthan. Faculty hiring is ongoing. soon complete faculty available for mbm University. For 1st sem only end sem exams.

Internships Opportunities

There are intership for intrested students for 2nd 3rd and 4th year students. Many students in a intership program for many companies.some are best intership program for students. Mbm is the best college in rajasthan after nit jpr & iit jodhpur.

Placement Experience

Mbm college placement are very good. Highest is 32 lacks from Amazon to cs branch boss. Mining engineering highest placements is 16 lacs. Many companies are come for placements. Vedanta is coming for mining engineering students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two types of seats GFS & SFS . Gfs means government funded Seat. Fees of gfs seat is 23k first sem + 16k second sem . Many different types of scholarships available . Some are give by alumins.

Campus Life

Once a year annual function will be held . there are many clubs . From 10 to 12 clubs intersted students can join.new clubs are investigating. there are clubs for dancing singing debating and sports are common.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are little bad. But there are many pgs & rooms outside. Mess food is not bad. Hostel can little better after mbm become University. There is no menu for hostel. But outside best mess are available with normal cost.

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

You should choose MBM or not ?

I also applied for jecrc foundation in jaipur , and i got CS+Ai there , but then in next round i got mbm electrical . I choose this college over jecrc because that was a private college and mbm is government . And also the fees in jecrc is twice as compare to mbm . And i want to have a option of gogvernment field also so electrical will be much better option . I wanted to go to NIT but i didn't get that much good score in jee ,so i was left with this state college option only . The admission proccees is quite simple , you have to apply to reep counselling , and then you have to do reporting in this college with required documents as mentioned on reep site . 91 percentile is required in jee to get electrical branch in mbm for a general ews student...Read More
