12th pass students with 60% marks can apply for this course Application form will be available on the college website from April onwards Application fee will be 800 Yes there are some reservations for Sc Sts in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I'm into management And It is a vocational course through which I can learn and practice management. The faculty is good and well experienced they are qualified enough at least in my department I can say that the professors are good and very cooperative there are mainly 6 End sem and 6 mid sem examinations.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are also there but students normally didn't go for this as it took lots of time and give fewer payouts but if you want to go for it you can. A company like TCS, Wipro offer placements at max 3-4L per annum which is again decent. So yes there are placement opportunities on our campus.

Placement Experience

As I'm in the first year I haven't experienced placement yet but from our seniors, I got to know that most IT students got placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, SAP etc and most of the students usually opt for higher studies through which they got better opportunities around 60% student got placed last year so it is quite decent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Few vocational courses are a bit higher than normal course it's is about 50K for general students and there is some scholarship as well through which you can get at least 20-30 percent of your money back so I will highly recommend filling those forms specially Kalyan. And NSP for minorities students.

Campus Life

Our college celebrates a fest named Xavier fest which is very popular among students but due to covid it has been cancelled for last few years hope it will be back soon. Libraries are there in the college from that you can issue any book by paying just 1 rupee there are some departmental library as well in our college.

Semester 3,4 students become eligible for campus placement but I think last year mostly companies were visit in the college and companies like TCS, bajaj Finserv, icicibank etc. Average package 3-5 lakh, and highest package 10 lakh

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

Our goal is to be courteous and appropriate and these guidelines are flexible.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Concentrix, reliance jio, Yamaha motor Pvt Ltd, v Poddar, and associates, etc visited my college for placement the offers made of about in starting 20000 to 30000 salary will be given. The highest package is of 100000 and average package is of 50000 they offers. 80 percent of students getting placements. My plan is to get job in one of these companies after getting the degree.

Remarks:

This college is near to my home and have good reputation in commerce. Its a renowned college for commerce. The fees is also very less here. The maximum fees here is 2000 yearly. There is no need for entrance exam here if you want to join UG or PG. But you have to give entrance for vocational courses. For entrance you should have just scored 60-70% in your previous board exam. This is the most driving factor to take admission here.

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high.
