The course in the college was beautifully structured, because it's an autonomous college in Bangalore in evening. During my final year of Degree there was no elective for us, were we did marketing and human resources management.

Internships Opportunities

In evening college there is no known as internship approach, because we in the day time we were working and the evening we were going to college. So we was not involved in this.

Placement Experience

2.5

There was a placement in our college. In our batch, B.Com students were 210 in that 120 students got placed. Others want to work in the old companies and do higher education.Companies like Oracle - CTC of 2,60,000.00 p.a. were cab and shift allowances were separate. HP, CTC of 2,15,000/- p.a. day shift for girls.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there was a scholarship, loan and concession for the weaker in economic section of the students. The loan facility from the Sneha fund from the students for emergency, but for short period or before course completion.

The alumni of the college was working good, where alumni was helping to the poor and needy students requirements like fees, books, help in technical skills and talent building support also were helping to get jobs for the livelihood.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
