Remarks

The admission process was very easy and direct entry was applied, one can directly visit the college for admission, there are no application fees and application dates are after class 12th results in May.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose the course because there is a lot of scope in the future in journalism, there is 1 teacher per 15 students, all the teachers are well qualified some of them are even holding Ph.D. degrees others have masters minimum, term exams were taken on time and the level of exam is somewhat between easy to medium and most of the students easily pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities

1

There are very less internship opportunities. One can get an internship but will have to do a few works for it and the average stipend offered is 4-6 k. The main projects are around working with editors on the projects of reporting, etc.

Placement Experience

1.5

Not many companies come for placement but those who come average package is 4 LPA most of the time bjmc students don't get any placement, so bjmc students do further masters and can get well placed. I am planning to do MBA after this degree and get a corporate job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is 28600 for the first two years and 30000 for the third year and currently there is no fees hike policy, there is currently no scholarship available, most of the students apply for higher education instead of job after completion of the degree. The average placement package of those who sit for interviews is around 4 LPA.

Campus Life

3

The life of college is amazing all the classmates are very good and faculty is very supportive and annual fest is conducted in September, the library is available and classrooms are well maintained. Most of the sports are available and a few student clubs are available but they are not well operating.

Other Applied Colleges

Nehru college | B.Ca

Course Curriculum Overview:

Journalism comes in one of the 4 pillars of india and i feel like studying this course gives your mind an opinion and a perspective to think in other ways too. This course improves your speaking skills yur writing skills as well as your personality. Exams are 3 hours long and you have to maintain the speed to write atleast 7 to 8 pages per answer.

Placement Experience:

Our Institute also provide placement opportunities and students who are pursuing in sixth semester are eligible for placement. Recently, a company visited our Institute and selected many students for placement. But at that time I didn't remember the name of company and also no idea about the salary package. There are only 30 percent students were interested to getting placement. I prefer the journalism after getting my degree.
