One among best dental colleges.

My overall experience with the College was good. Teaching training everything is good. But the district is pathetic.

I qualifies Karnataka CET and got rank 1059. I myself chose the course there was a centralized counselling for admission.

I pursued Bachelor of Dental surgery (BDS) It's a 5 year course with 4 years of study and one year of rotating internship. In this course you are trained to deal with Dental problems and skill development for treatment of dental and oral diseases.

Internship was good I learned a lot about clinical aspects of Dentistry. I tested n operated patients by myself. Unfortunately college doesn't pay any stipend in internship.

When I passed out the job opportunities were ok. But now BDS graduates are struggling to get jobs. There were no official campus interviews. Outgoing graduates have to search job on their own.

Every year College organize cultural and literary events which includes many great activities like sports singing dancing and many literary events. Unfortunately there was no management festival as it was a dental College.

At my time its was 75000 per annum. But I believe it has gone beyond 2.5 lakhs now when you clear entrance exam. But without entrance its anywhere between 15 to 20 lakhs.

College offers scholarship to poor and good students. Loan is not availed by college though you can get education loan from any bank.

As the place Bagalkot is a small district you don't have many options out of your college. Every year College organize cultural and literary events which includes many great activities like sports singing dancing and many literary events.

To be frank hostel and mess were not up to the mark. As the College is in South India you don't get north Indian food and even the quality of food in mess was not good.

The College has very active alumni association which organise get together every year. Which is quite nicely organized. I am in contact with almost all of my seniors through social networking sites.

Exams and clinical postings were frequent and hectic as well. You can chill a bit during internship.

Faculty in the College is well trained and experienced with Dentistry. You are trained in all aspects of Dentistry including treatment of decayed teeth, gum surgery, extraction techniques to remove teeth and denture related work
