Best College for Commerce.

Nothing about the college specifically as they are always good in making gem out the coal. They have always been the 1st preference for the student to join P.D. Lions College.

This is one of the best colleges for Commerce course. The Admission process is as simple as others. The management is also very knowledgeable and thats the one of the reason for me to attend the class. I was an average student getting 50% overall in studies but due to the professors i topped 3rd in my area for accounts.

At our time there were no such internship introduced however the students were smart enough to crack everything in the interviews so that they can clear all the exams and pass out with good percentage.

Placements and Job opportunities are good. Now a days i heard that they are providing good placements and job opportunities to different companies for Accountant or secretary and many more.

Dalmia Utsav is what we have at the annual day which is highly celebrated in the college campus. There are other activities like singing,drama,cricket,football and many more. I participated in Singing and offcourse won the no.1 prize for ghazal events.

Fee structure now a days have gone much high but during our time it was much feasible for the students. It was around 3000 to 5000 per student that too a break up for monthly,quarterly or yearly depends what you want to opt for.

There were activities like Hindi Sahitya kala parishad (HSKP) where most of the competitions and wellness were created by this group. There were also inter college debates in English with regards to the current affairs. There is also inter college,singing competition,Drama competition and many more conducted by the college.

There are no hostel facility available as most of the students are from the same city. The food quality is also good and people loved to have misal pav and tea at the canteen.

I have had good relations with all the seniors as i was in the Hindi Sahitya kala parishad (HSKP) team and have lots of suggestions and co-ordination with my seniors on how to popularize the HSKP accross Mumbai.

Exam structure was well planned and the courses were over much before the exams giving the time for preparation.

Faculty's over here are one of the best knowledgeable faculties. They have good standards in teaching the student. Accounts sir was my favorite sir as he never got bored in repeating the chapter till the time everyone of us never understood. There was a Professor Kailash V,he is very well known for the Organisation of Commerce lectures. He has written many books on OC. I'll make sure that my kid if opts for commerce will go to this college.
