Remarks

Eligibility of the course to be a bachelor degree in science at the any recognized University of India the application form found in www.uok.ac.in and application fees is 500 Indian rupees. The application portal opened in the month of April. Reservation benefits as per the government norms.5% reservation for most backward classes (MBCs) and 10% for economically weaker sections (EWS), the total reservation is 64%. Reservation for SCs is 16%, 12% for STs and 21% for OBCs.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for MSc mathematics because I'm graduated in mathematics and for post-graduation. The faculty and student ratio is 1:10. All faculty members are well qualified (Ph.D. and NET qualified) and research scientists also. There are two mid-term exams and seminar presentations in a semester, 4 semesters in master's degree. Slightly difficult examination.

Class Size: 34Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hikes policy as per their state government norms cost of the study is moderate. All scholarships given by state and Central governments are applicable to inspire fellowship, MHRD scholarship, chief minister scholarship, social empowerment scholarship, etc.

Campus Life

There is no announced annual fest but on the behalf of departments organized fresher parties and annual functions. Hug collection of books in the library also have E-library access and many journals are available in the library. Are well furnished with a projector. Classrooms are in theatre Maner. University has a physical department for sports and extracurricular activities on the campus.

Hostel Facilities

Eight hostels were announced in the University campus but at this time only one hostel (boys) named Sant pipa hostels are in running condition having a single or duplex room. Cooperative mess in the hostel and the male quality is a good menu for morning chapati, dal, curd, rice and in dinner green vegetable with chapati rice and dal, etc. After admission in the department offline admission procedure is open for hostels on the basis of merit. The hostel is very affordable. Students living outside the campus University area on rent.

An Honest Review of Academic and Campus Life

Likes

Knowledgeable and skilled professors with years of experience
The campus has very greenery vibes which is very pleasant
The class size of student are small which help in better teaching

Dislikes

No proper lab facilities for biotechnology subject
Very less teacher teach biotechnology as compared to other subjects
Fees is very high as compare to other subjects in the same university

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is quite good in term of relevance. It is well structured and have all the topics covered which are required for Master’s students to know. The subjects are divided which students can choose according to them each semester.

Very enthusiastic faculty , impressive publications , some faculty are advisory members in boards liker springer publication
The exposure one gets in the college for entrepreneurial ventures as well as finance is immense , if one as an engineer wants to become a financial analyst , the steps are quite easy and set .
Zero attendance policy is very beneficial

Dislikes

Faculty can take zero attendance more into account . Though there is zero attendance policy there are surprise quizzes which get included in your grade
Living amenties are below average at the end of the day Pilani is a village and one does'nt get basic amenities like healthcare and proper food
the fees is too much for what they offer , there have been strikes but with no positive outcome

Placement Experience:

Students can sit in campus placements starting from their second last semester.Some phenomenal companies that visited placement last year was BCG , Bain n Co . , Jane Street ,Amazon , Flipkart .Also there are many companies /startups which visit for non tech roles like PM / data (Xpedia) and many more .As for the tech and core roles if you have a CG above 8 you will be sure shot placed . Highest packages go upto 2 crores for quant roles since they are highly paid for .Approximately 81 % of the students get placed , I have personally seen students with a CGPA of even 5 get placed a job of 14 Lakhs per annum .My plans after getting the degree are to work in finance .

Advanced study what actually we want in our life
Teacher are well menner and well expert of their subject
Library facility is awesome like book bank and 5 book for 14 days is free

Dislikes

Fee is higher than other colleges of jodhpur
Cricket peech not available for students
75 % Attendance is compulsory for student otherwise exam will not be taken

Placement Experience:

Many companies like ultratech, tcs, tata capital etc comes here every year but they give Placement not more than 30 students, however package is also low like 350000 per month. Highest package gives by ultratech which is 27000 per month only

Campus shoud be a bit more clean and neat
Students should focus on studies not on just wandering in campus
Teachers should pay more attention towards discipline

I have just completed bsc bed integrated course and now want to complete masters so i choose this course. In which I'll complete my msc with physics subject . More practical's should be done instead of theory. our college curriculum is integrated with Rajasthan university

My experience in this college is so fantastic

Placement Experience:

Bachelor and master's students are eligible for placement. Almost 78%students got placement in B.A social science and in many courses.the highest salary package is 35 LPA and the average salary package is 15 LPA. Mostly 80% of students got placement. Many local and well-settled companies visited this college. I am preparing csir net Jrf to became a professor and I want to become a professor in this college.
