Course Curriculum Overview

Computer course was designed in such a way so that practical Lab class and theory was in sync.Good number of assignment.Periodic test.Easy semester exams with 50% question out.

Internships Opportunities

There were no internship. No company came for internship opportunity.

Placement Experience

Placements was 20%. Company visits but takes very less students like 3 or 4.Some company like HCL and Mphasis visited and took large no of students but salary was average.

College Events

There were several tech fest organized and few of them are national levels Like Tech astra national level events. Sports events Alumuni meet, Cultural events ,Fresher party, ad-zap etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was very very expensive as compared to facilities. It was 1.4 Lakh per annum.And extra fee yearly and exams fee was high. University was main focused , how to make money.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility was there but I have not availed.

Exam Structure

Practical exams and lab excercise was good enough.They were structured good and student friendly manner.50% problem already discussed before exams, so less burden.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
