My personal experience in KIMT, Bhubaneswar

KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE) is the All India Entrance Examination conducted by KIIT, Bhubaneswar for admission into various courses of KIMT.Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate along with 50% aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12 board examination & total fee around 10.18 lacs.

The course of MBA offers a wide range of career choices. This year the first batch of KSAP passed out with great portfolios, and most of them got placed in nice companies and half of them proceeded on for higher education in separate fields of their choices. Really supportive faculties and way of teaching. the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent and updated development in all the fields. Whatever was taught was pretty helpful and help to get the job.

The best thing about the course is we get theoretical as well as practical knowledge of business, and we engage with many projects that give us hands-on knowledge about the course. Everything is good here, and the materials we get can be more dynamic.The course curriculum gives us an idea regarding how will be our life in the corporate world. We get to learn so many things which we can implicate in our work life. This course curriculum will help you in getting a practical application of the theory learnt in class.

100 percent placement guarantee. Big companies like Accenture, Delloite, KPMG, Dabur, Flipkart, Amazon visit Campus. Very high salary package with upto 26 lpa to an average of 6 lpa. Roles like sales and marketing manager, Analyst, Consultant. Every student gets opportunity for internship with big companies.More than 90% of the students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The fee for the two-year MBA is moderate compared to other top institutes. The annual fee for the MBA program is 5.6 Lakh rupees thus a total of 12 Lakh rupees is to paid in two years. Scholarships such as KIIT Poverty – Cum – Merit Scholarship, KIITEE Merit scholarship, KIIT Merit Scholarship are available for the students and they can apply for scholarships as per eligibility.

Due to the pandemic we don’t have an in hand experience of the campus but during my two visits I found the campus very eventful. The campus is very happening. Cultural events and technical events are organized for students so that they can showcase their skills. In our online classes, various webinars and events are organized so that we can get a taste of our culture. I’m eagerly waiting to visit the campus and complete my degree from there.

There are 3 different types of rooms available for students 3 bed Ac, 2 bed Ac and 3 beds non AC rooms. The meal quality is also acceptable and the students are provided with both veg and nonveg foods available in the mess. All the hostels are very clean and are pretty affordable with 3 bed non-ac room being the cheapest and 2-bed ac rooms being the costliest. You can book the hostel during the registration and also give an application in the hostel administration office at the Chintan block.
