I had to buy brochure to apply for university. I had secured 72 % total and 75 % in pcm,so I was eligible for their b tech eee course. As I am in general quota I didn't receive reservation quota. Improvement I would see is to reduce their overall fees
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose my course as I liked hardware so eee was the optimal course Faculty to student ratio would be 1 : 50 They all have obviously have their own bachelor or master degree The midterm was once every semester and other times we usually got assignments, first term, second term,pre-semester test, and then final term. It was usually average to pass as we had got a lot of practical training which improve the overall concept of subjects
Internships Opportunities
Internships were available both during small companies meet along with our final year project. Most of the time it was doing techie things in reputable companies. Companies were usually nice with us as we were their future employee
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester onwards we got special training. Students were mostly eligible who got more than 7 cgpa, Companies visited were Capgemini, cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Accenture. Some small-scale industries also had placement drives. The highest package offered was for 50 lacs. Around 45 percent would get places
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost for admission was 30000. The course overall cost 4 lacs as the price increased slightly every year. Hostel fees also increased slightly So around 8.5 lacs is the cost to study. I got a job in Accenture as placement, salary package then was 4.5 lacs
Campus Life
Every semester some fest would be organized. More often 5 to the 12 fests per semester, Important books were available in our library. Basic amenities were provided. Extra circular activities were a plus but managing with the course was hard
Hostel Facilities
We had a big hostel campus, A total of 4 hostels were inside the premise with two kitchens and two dining areas divided as north and south messes. We had wifi, fan as a basic on our campus. The cafeteria was a big attraction providing snacks. The computer lab was provided. The food was average but during festivals or special days, the food was awesome. We had the option to book a hostel initially as first come first serve but a lot of hostels were available getting a hostel was easy. For parents hostel were OK. I stayed in a hostel for 2 years, after that I got a room which was very cheap compared to hostel.
