GOOD COLLEGE

IHM Shillong offers 4courses like craftsmanship, bakery, and for bachelor, B.Sc H&HA is the only course offered in this college. I choose B.Sc over diploma as because B.Sc has a better scope in compare to diploma.I admitted in this college in the year 2021 which now I'm basically a 1st year student.The campus is really good and the teachers here are really helpful and friendly.the infrastructure is also good.The hostel foods are heavenly good,i think it's the best institute that provides a good meal to the hosteller.Now,when it come to campusplacements ,the college basically has a good scores but then the packages are not that good,which start from 12k-35k range.So over-all 7/10.

The exams are held every two months and the exams papers are quite easy. You just need to go through the books and you will definitely get a good score. But try to catch the explanation as it is more helpful than reading Books.

The college offers internship and industrial training opportunities to the students. The students can easily avail internship or industrial training. as our college ties up with many hotels and resorts. Ranging From 3star to 5star max.

We all are aware that having only a bachelor's degree in today's world will not give you a good job. So following the modernism world, I'm planning to do a master's from Abroad after my bachelor's degree.

The Institute doesn't offer Scholarships but you can easily apply from National Scholarship Portal as IHM Shillong is a centralized institution. Even, I applied for a scholarship from National Scholarship Portal which will be verified by the institute itself.

I'm from Karbi Anglong, Assam which is very far from my hometown to ihm Shillong, like it's 300km (approx) away from my hometown.so I need to stay at the hostel because I don't have any friends, relatives there. the hostel is quite good.
