Remarks

Management was ok. There were busy in expanding their business. Infrastructure was good. They could have worked on adding good faculty that time.

Entrance Preview

UPTU entrance exam. I scored bad and my rank was poor so I got this college near to my city. There was no interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It was good and decided by UPTU. Divided in 8 semesters. first two semester were common for all trades and second year on-words stream specific. Course were designed as per industry need.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was hard to get during my time. We have to manage for ourselves. We did internship without any stipend. No company came for internship. Not sure how is the trend now.

Placement Experience

3

There was not much support from placement cell. Few companies used to come and offer very less opportunities. Satyam, Birla Soft TCS Infosys etc. Avg package was 2.5 Lacs.

College Events

3.5

Annual event was SAMVET. Apart from it there used to be sports event for volleyball and cricket. There used to be some internal workshop and technical events also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was a private college. Fee was expensive and needs to be paid for 1 year in 1 shot. Apart from it some exam fees and all. That time 1 year fees was around 35, 000 inr and some 10, 000 fees for exams and others.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there was no scholarship / loan facility offered by my college, there was some scholarship by govt for SC/ST students.

Campus Life

3

There used to be some fest, workshop and sports. Gender ratio was good. There were students from all cast religion etc. There were not politics interference.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Mess was mess hostel was ok, double and triple sharing room there was no PG in city that time students used to stay in sharing flats and cook food.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network not much strong. only one meet in past 8 years. Seniors and batchmates have formed their own network but there is not much support from college.

Exam Structure

Exams were ok and controlled by UPTU labs and exams were as per UPTU but there used to be some internal exams as well.

Faculty

3

Faculty was ok some were good some were just graduate from some college. Management could have worked on providing better faculty during my time. Not sure about the current status of the faculty.

Placement Experience:

Government organizations like Cisr and Syneos Health are major conglomerate where we are placed. Still with lesser students we are not places that high and it's a shame because such a great university but still placements are in a way less as other branches have. 4-5 lakhs is what offered to Biotechnology students of IILM.

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd and 4th year are eligible for placements. More than 150 companies offered 750+ Jobs. Almost 70% of the students in my branch has been placed. Highest package offered was 9PLA and the lowest was 3LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, PTC, Cleartrip, Jinko Contraction, GENX Consultancy Services, Airtel, CIty Union Bank, Emerson, Asix Bank and many more. Some of the students have taken the placement and some of them were invited to internship from 20k stipend to 40k stipend. If the student doesn't get college placement, he need to apply off campus for jobs. I will try to join a good job or start my own startup idea.
