Remarks

Student of any passout degree from any field is eligible for this college and degree. Also, I had above 50% in 12th std. Anyone can find bout this college details and admission dates on their official website www.nithm.ac.in. They also have their pages on Facebook and Instagram. They took a small test and then sent me for the interview. The test was normal to hard for me. They had asked questions regarding English, maths, logic, GK, current affairs, and aptitude, mostly mcqs. Out of 200, the cut-off was 140. Here's how I was selected. There was no such reservation facility while selecting students. Overall, I liked their selection process and I would like no further changes in their admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because of my interest in the business. I want to opt for good MBA colleges after completing BBA. The course curriculum of NITHM is so good and much needed to train business students. The faculty of this college is again a reason I liked this college, they are so cooperative and professional. For each subject, there are two or more faculty allotted. Faculty to student ratio may be around 2:40 approximately. All the faculties are well qualified and have done mastery their subjects and some have even done a Ph.D. Every one of them is a pass out of reputed management colleges. Their teaching method is very innovative. Fewer books and more digital ways to teach students. Smart class used every day to teach gives us more practical knowledge along with theory. The exams are the same as the school ones. 2 long-term exams in a year. 2 short exams in between a span of 6 months. Hopefully, there is nothing like difficult to pass because of the fine teaching of the faculty.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Our college provides an internship of all the relevant types to the students. They provide hotel internships in 5-star hotels such as Taj Falaknuma, Taj Deccan, Oberoi hotels, Radisson Blu, Heritage Hotels, etc. There they teach and train students about all the work at all the departments of the hotel including the etiquette and the golden rules to be followed in a hotel, make them learn and perform some tasks and students make notes every day as a journal. Our college provides internships for event management. There, students are being trained for food and beverage mostly and to work with the event manager and learn the strategy to plan, execute and train the employees. Then, there is an opportunity for tourism internships such as tour walks, tour guides, recruiting, etc. Here, students are trained to gather information about all the famous places in that area and talk professionally with tourists. The last one is for sales and marketing internship where students are connected with marketing strategies.

4

Yes, our college is very well known for its best and guaranteed placements. Students get eligible to opt for placements in their very final year i. e; BBA(8th sem), BSC(6th sem), MBA(4th sem) DIPLOMA(after their course finish). Some names of the companies that visited our college for conducting interviews for placements are Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation, B T I S I T AC A T- P R O, Cox & Kings, G M RHotel Green Park International School of Business, Kingfisher Airlines, OrbitzPico, Radisson, Rachnoutsav, Ramoji Film City, SOTC, Kuoni, Thomas Cook, and many others. Our college has an 80% placement record. The highest package offered was Rs 40,000 per month and Rs 15,000 per month as the average salary. My plan after getting a degree is to commit to a job for the next two years provided by the college. After that, I wish to opt for an MBA college abroad. I will have two years of job experience which will grant me more preference at the time of selection after my MBA.

Campus Life

4

Life on campus was such a great journey till now. I learned to make friends, I learned the right way of communicating with others, my quick thinking skill improved a lot, and so on. Numerous good changes with a fixed goal this college are going to help me achieve, that's what I have always wanted. There are a lot of fairs and conferences organized by our faculty members where a lot of big brands come and host sessions to educate students about the market trends. These events are very informative. Apart from that, our college organizes a lot of sports events as well. Our Annual Fest Namashya is amazing. We also have had all the necessary books and guides available in our library. We also enjoy the amenities at the campus such as Well-Maintained Toilets, Ventilation and Air Quality, Space and Size of Classrooms, Playgrounds, etc. There are many Instagram fan clubs of NITHM run by students:https://instagram.com/nithmofficial?utm_medium=copy_link.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I lived in a campus hostel. My life there was amazing and I made great changes in my personal growth. The facilities were luckily very good. We had room service for cleaning, dusting(twice a week), laundry, light, fan, electric repair, and dropping off parcels and couriers. Apart from this, the food was amazing and tasty. I had not gone through the "hostel food life" as I got a perfect homely taste in our hostel mess. We used to get rice, chapati, dal, 2 veggies with sometimes curd, rasam, fries(cabbage, cauliflower, peanuts), etc. For snacks, we get maggie someday, saosa, fruits, tea every day and for breakfast, we get idli, vada, uttapam, aalo puri, etc. On Sunday, we get dosa in breakfast, laccha paratha, and special dishes for lunch and dinner. No snacks on Sunday. For registration for a hostel, payment of 60,000 per semester needs to be done. Grab the receipt by the administration building and show it to the hostel warden. Fill a registration form provided to you by the warden in the hostel. That's it.

Interview Experience

4

Yes, I did face two rounds for the selection. They were a written exam ( UGAT) and finally an Interview. My test pattern had numerous sub-topics. They were mostly arithmetic, aptitude, English, current affairs, GK, and logistics. There were a total of 200 questions and the cutoff was 140 marks. Then there was an interview where I had been asked about myself, my purpose for coming here, my ambition, etc. The process for admission is as follows: For BBA admission, the aspirants are required to appear in Undergraduate Admission Test (UGAT) conducted by AIMA or JEE Main or TS EAMCET. Admission in the B.Sc program is done on the basis of marks scored in the Joint Entrance Test (JEE) conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management. Admission to MBA and PGDM is done on the basis of marks scored in any of the management aptitude tests viz. MAT/ TS ICET/ ATMA/ CAT. Final selection will be done based on the performance in the GD and PI. I had referred Manorma Yearbook 2019 and tha same book with the year 2018.
