VIET an excellent option for pursuing B.Tech.

I would recommend VIET to students who are planning to do B.Tech in coming time. The college environment is good for studying.

I took UPTECH Exam and university is UPTU. I got a good score and I chose VIET because I wanted to take IT branch.

It was 4 years degree and course was approved by UP Technical University. In 4th year, we had to create a project. Some of the subjects in course were Physics, Chemistry, Data Algorithm, Electronics, etc.

College was new at that time so there were not many companies who came for placement. Few companies came and selected some students for their companies. Rest had to find jobs on their own.

As College was new at that time, only few companies came for placement. But it has improved a lot in last few years and companies are coming now for campus placement.

The college is having internal festivals like annual function, inter college competitions, etc. Also, college do participate in intra college competitions which includes dance, debate, etc.

Fee was around Rs 20000 per quarter that time. Fee structure was feasible. I will not treat it as expensive if compared to other institutes. They give proper receipts every time.

At that time, loan facilities were not available scholarships were available for top rankers. I hope loans night be available now from some banks.

Campus life was amazing we had students from all over India and we had lots of fun. We had competitions like Cricket and other games. There were some sorts of extracurricular activities also like Mr VIET and Mrs VIET, Dance Competitions, etc.

Hostel facility was ok rooms were big and room mates and other hostelians were very friendly. I still miss those days food was good. Breakfast used to be very good with different menus.

In recent time, the Dean of the college has initiated the steps for building alumni Network and senior students. Some Get Together Meets are being arranged in multiple cities. Also, there is group in facebook for the college where students from VIET are present.

Exams were not frequent but it does the job and labs were good specially Computer Lab and Mechanical Lab.

Faculty was good and helpful. Faculty were passed out from good and leading colleges and universities. Faculty had good amount of knowledge in their subjects.
