Remarks

First I've to give entrance in which there are a total of 60 questions, each question has 1 mark, Cut Off mark for admission was 18.00 points. After qualifying entrance exam you will get an application form on the University of Kashmir website. Where you have to fill in all the required information. The drawback is you've to submit your application form at University in offline mode which is really a hassle, they should keep it in online mode which would be great for everyone.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm doing Masters in mathematics. This course has a lot of scope in the teaching department and other fields too. In the mathematics department faculty is really good, all the professors are well qualified and patient with all students. Term exams were usually on time every six months, but sometimes there is a delay in the exam due to some external reason.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for getting admission to MSc in mathematics is 11000/year + 500 lab fee which isn't much as compared to other institutes that demand hefty amounts for the same course. There's also an NSP scholarship available which you can avail yourself easily by applying through the government portal.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is good. Every facility available is good. In Kashmir's harsh winter you get heaters there and departments are clean. There are many extracurricular activities like going on educational tours etc.

Better campus

Regretful decision

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like zoology. Studying the anatomy and physiology of humans has been the most interesting part that i wanted to explore in this field. But this course has just disappointed me as they only repeat subjects related to fishes and invertebrates. The teachers don't trach anything except for 1-2 topics that too in a non serious way. Even we can teach better than them.
