Entrance Preview
CET. After my graduation wanted to do MBA. Appeared for CET and got 96.7 percentile. After that there was GD and personal interview after which final scores were alloted. On allotment of marks final ranks were given and admission took place on basis of this rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
First year had common curriculum for all the electives. In second year there was option of marketing, Finance, HR, Systems It and Operations. After opting for the specialisation in Finance there were subjects like Financial Management, applied finance, portfolio management, budgeting and cost analysis, taxation.
Internships Opportunities
I had done my internship from John Crane Sealing Systems located in Bangalore. College was of no great help as this was immediately after global financial crisis. I had landed up with this internship due to my own efforts.
Placement Experience
Around 60% of students were placed. Companies like Darashaw, Central Bank of India, L&T infotech, collate, Infosys, hdfc bank, ICICI Bank, etc had visited campus.
College Events
Sinhgad karandak was the annual coral festival. We had entrepreneurship training program under umbrella of National Entrepreneurship Network. Around 5000 to 7000 students participate in these programs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was feasible with annual fees of 1.2 lacs. Tuition fee was 80000. Maintained exercise charges was 15000. Other charges was 25000. Frees was reasonable as compared to other management institutes.
Fees and Financial Aid
Nope, We had to manage our own loans. College had no tie up with banks. Scholarship was available only for reserved category students.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is week with hardly any students coming for alumni meet. Current students should take up networking. Have attended all alumni meets in last 5 years.
Faculty
Faculty could be divided between in house and external faculty. In house faculty were mostly academicians. External faculty were the people with industrial experience and hence could provide insight to the subject.
