Government brennen college is beautiful college under kannur university. The campus have many things to visit like "brennen ooty","water tank" etc. There is a big ground for the college and we can practice sports. Brennen has a big auditorium and a mini-auditorium. The library is central library and we can have 5 books for 2 weeks and we can renew the books through the college library app. More over, teachers are friendly and they all are the best teachers we can get. I have heard many good things about the college from my higher secondary teachers and they suggested me to join brennen college. After joining I felt that brennen is the best college I have seen. It is an eco friendly college. One thing I think bad about the college is about "brennen ootty'when I came to the college brennen ootty has many trees and when we go there ootty gives a cold breez for self relief. But now the trees have been cutted for college new hostel. But college says that they will plant trees and give back ootty for us. Then it will be wonderful.

I willingly chosen Malayalam as my core course in brennen college. My class have 45 students and there are ten teachers in malayalam department. They are well qualified teachers having doctorate, assistant proffessor, etc like qualification. The syllabus is student friendly so students didnt get much pressure. syllubus gets bigger as we passes every sem so that students become qualified to accept the syllabus. For every semester exams we gets model exams by teachers. more over, the department have many programs for students. We conducts seminar, assignments etc for internals. Above that students and teachers have a team called "Akam Cultural vedhi". And I am so prud to be a student of Malayalam department at Government brennen college.

Offcource college is offering campus placements. Along with CCEK and ASAP we can study more courses and get job easily. almost 70% of the students get job through the courses offered by CCEK and ASAP.

There is no cost for students to study who have e-grantz. So that students below 2.5 lakh have no fee. Others must pay 650 rs for examination. The college offers many sholarships for backward students. There is also other scholarship too. And college having programs along with CCEK. So that students get to know more courses like diploma in computer application etc. ASAP is also there in brennen college so that students get job easily and their confidence level increases

Government Brennen college offers many programs for students and teachers.The college annual fest conducted by a day in october or november. The college library is central library and almost every books are available there and it is well arranged. Each students can get a maximum of 5 books and they can return it after 2 weeks. And also they can renew it by the help of college librarian or by the college library app. There are many students clubs for students and they conducts many programs for students.The college physical department offers students to practice sports.
