Remarks
The application form was submitted online through SPU's official portal. The cost of the form was Rs.100. With my graduate degree of 3-years, I also had to submit my CAT scores in order to be eligible for the program. I wanted to pursue MBA and because SPU ranked #8 in Gujrat for it's MBA program. I decided to take admission here. Also, it was ranked 62 for Overall by QS and #151 out of 200 Top Universities in India by NIRF.
Course Curriculum Overview
The MBA program here was designed to equip us with the best academic and practical expertise. It was a career-oriented curriculum that included management courses, corporate training sessions, internships, guest lectures, and an endless roller coaster of slides, reports, group presentations, and so on. In addition, I had the opportunity to learn from the most helpful mentors, all of them were well qualified with Ph.D. degrees in their respective professions.
Placement Experience
The institute aided us throughout the placement process, they provided us with interview training sessions, resume development, internship chances, and so on. Various corporations such as Asian Paints India Ltd, Apar Ltd, Bank of Baroda, IDBI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Kotak Securities, Berger Paints India Ltd, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, General Motors (India) Ltd. etc. came up with fantastic packages. My classmates, even those with average scores, were put in good firms with respectable pay packages. The highest package received was of 12 lakhs. My entire batch's average package came to be approximately 5 lakhs, with 100% of students placed. Because the college is well-known, our placement was excellent.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My total fee was around 1.36 lakhs and this was inclusive of all my tuition and study material. I paid the fee in 2 installments, the fee for each term was about Rs.68000. I paid no extra fee of any kind. Although the tuition cost was very affordable, the institute also offered many central government scholarships for minorities as well as meritorious students.
Campus Life
The classrooms were excellent, and the library, albeit modest, included practically all of the necessary materials. Wi-Fi was offered all day, seven days a week across the campus, and medical services were also available. The infrastructure was also not too poor, given that the college is of the highest caliber. Even though we didn't have our own field, the college let us utilize the Bhavans field for games and sports. I like assisting others and wanted to perform some social work, so I joined Rotoract Club. Life was interesting and varied here.
