Remarks

To get admission in the MBA course, I was required to fill the online application form available on the official college website and pay Rs.500 along with it. After the submission of the filled-in application to the admission officer, a written aptitude test was conducted followed by an interview session. My KMAT scores were also considered during admission. I wanted to take admission here because my sister also graduated from here. Also, it ranked 36 among the best B-Schools across India by Business Today and ranked 1st overall at the State Level and 19th at All India Level by Education World.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My 2-year program provided me with knowledge, skills, and the attitude required for an effective managerial career. Interactive lectures, pedagogy that was evolving, assignments and assessments ensured that all of us achieve the specified outcomes. The entire course was outcome based and faculty members were sensitive to ensure that the outcomes for each course was defined well at the beginning of the program and shared with each of us through course handouts.

Placement Experience

4.5

Almost 80% of my 2020 batch was placed by top recruiting firms like Amazon, iGate, Accenture, HCL, Infosys, Cognizant, Concentrix, HP, Axis Bank, Goldman Sachs, Wipro, DE Shaw & Co. The average package they offered to us was around 3 lakhs - 4 lakhs and the highest was up to 10 lakhs. Our College had an active placement cell that worked hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My total tuition was 4.75 lakhs. I paid this amount in 2 yearly installments. During first year, I paid 2 lakhs and in the second year, I was required to pay about 2.75 lakhs. My institute offered multiple scholarship opportunities. Some scholarships were based on merits and other scholarships were for financial support and SC/ ST/ OBC students.

Campus Life

4.5

During my time at campus, I attended events like Independence Day, SWARA Farooqiya School, ASTA, Cycle Day, PRATIBHA, Project ANAAJ, Rota Olympics, Rotaract Club Of Presidency awards, RSAMDIO, etc. Numerous Clubs and Committees were available for us to join, some of the popular once were Disha- Cultural Club, Udaan- Human Rights Club, Enviro- Eco Club, Odyssey- English Club, Morpheus- Management Club, Technozia- IT Club, etc. As for the facilities, our college included Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms with camera monitoring, library with the latest collection of books, sports and games with different courts.

MBA program at DOMS Anna University was really a great decision for me. I was offered with best facilities on the campus ground, and the college fee was also very affordable, so I didnt have to apply for any education loan or anything. The admission process is smooth, and begins in the month of June for all students.

Time management is one real asset that I developed in these three months. Joining BIM has given me with an opportunity to meet people with varied backgrounds, get a good network of intellectual people and give a chance to learn Tamil. Much software that I learnt for problem solving has given me an edge over any other MBA graduate of first year in the country.
